“Glendora” Ashton Keynes Canine Hydrotherapy Centre is based between Cirencester and Swindon in the Cotswold Water Park and is easily accessible from Cirencester, Swindon, Cheltenham and surrounding areas being just off the A419.
The centre opened in 2002 and has worked closely with local and regional vets and specialist referral centres to establish itself as the regions leading rehabilitation centre.
Glendora has treated well over a thousand dogs during this time, and receives referrals from far and wide (see Links page), including vets in Swindon, Cheltenham, Devizes, Chippenham, Marlborough, Cirencester, Malmesbury, Stroud, Gloucester, Highworth, Lechlade, Witney and Hungerford and Bath.
The centre is an accredited member the Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA) which means the standards of treatment, staff training, first aid, record keeping and water quality is closely monitored and exceeds the recommended standards and guidelines.
The centre is owned and managed by experienced specialist Richard Shipperbottom BEng, RICHA, FRSA, so you can be sure that your dog is getting the best possible care.
Richard himself owns 4 dogs, including Daisy – a 6 year old Chow Chow rescued from a puppy farm.
Hydrotherapy has been Izzy’s saviour. We don’t know what we would do without Glendora.

Swimming has helped eric so much he was unable to walk before he came to Glendora. Now he runs around like a young Labrador should. He really looks forward to his weekly swims.
